Fast & Furious 9 | Interesting Fact | Watch Full F9 Movie

It's no secret that Fast and Furious was conceived as a tracing paper “On the crest of a wave” - only with persistent amber of high-octane gasoline, burned rubber and molten asphalt. Since then, a lot of water has flowed under the bridge, and the series has successfully evolved from a realistic crime drama about boys going to success into a fantastic movie comic strip that spits on logic, the laws of physics and moderation in a dose of pathos. Exactly from a fifth of the degree of the transcendental madness that is happening on the screen is only growing, and therefore it is simply ridiculous to complain about the unrealism of what is happening. You have to accept the fact that the franchise is no longer about street racing on the outskirts of the city.

The ninth part continues a long tradition. The main characters dream of a quiet family life away from the hustle and bustle, but their native country and the whole world to the heap are again on the verge of destruction. Therefore, the key to the start, a slipper to the floor - and forward, to save the planet. Jacob, played by John Cena, the brother of the exemplary family man Dominic Toretto, suddenly appears as another megavillain. Continuously broadcasting about the holy inviolability of the family, Dom once had such a quarrel with his younger brother that the audience did not know about his existence for eight films. But don't worry - the conflict will be detailed in numerous flashbacks, whether you like it or not. In terms of charisma, John Cena, unfortunately, loses dry to the previous opponents of the Toretto team. He knows how to voice pretentious speeches with a stony expression on his face (probably, in the plot, this is a family trait), but he is far from Dwayne Johnson and Jason State, who are capable of decorating any kid's quote book with their charm. Even more: in a few short scenes, Charlize Theron makes a more villainous impression than Cena and his gang of henchmen. The coolest thing about the scoundrel gang is Francis Ngannou's cameo. In order not to interrupt the tradition of participating in the extras of the UFC champions, the Cameroon Predator won the heavyweight championship belt shortly before the start of the rental. True, the fight between the current leader of the division and the skinny Khan, in terms of fantasticness, does most of the car stunts, but such is the way.

The caste of friendship is not rich in villains alone. Vin Diesel invited old acquaintances, just to replace Hobbs and Shaw, who are pulling the blanket of viewers' attention (and sympathy, which is important). Alas, the vast majority of old-timers play not so much into the hands of storytelling as to please trends. Okay, Jordana Brewster is out of work - you can use your little sister. Only now she, together with Michelle Rodriguez, was prescribed an optional storyline that reveals the difficult life of the "strong and independent" in a rough, cruel, chauvinistic male world. Does anyone even watch Fast and Furious for the sake of pro-feminist ideas? Han's comeback (Song Kang), much touted in the trailers, is mostly for the sake of introducing another female character. The significance of Khan himself is reduced to a formal minimum: even the story of how he survived the accident, are reduced to the phrase "It's a long story." But the saddest thing is the return of Lucas Black, Sean's high school student from Tokyo Drift. You can see from his face that time spares no one.

Actually, the ruthlessness of time is what "Fast and Furious 9" is impregnated with. The flabby Vin Diesel is no longer able to gallop on the hoods. Behind Michelle Rodriguez's wrinkles it is becoming more and more difficult to see a street fighting woman, and she looks even less like the mother of the family. The creators themselves understand that the old people are not able to give vigorous action, so they smoothly replace the mind-blowing chases with lengthy arguments about family, happiness, tranquility and the desire to retire. And this is absolutely wrong. "Fast and the Furious" is loved not for its dramatic notes, but for its crazy races, tricks from the Newton's Infarction category, stunning exotic views and a general degree of recklessness. It is a pity that this is exactly the problem here.

No, there is, of course, action, but ... In the film, where Elon Musk's "feat" is repeated, literally launching a car into open space (instead of a dummy, two blacks), there are suspiciously few memorable scenes. But in an abundance of long conversations and overly detailed memories. Justin Lin would do well to ask Zach Snyder about intelligent editors - tempo will only benefit if you throw out at least one-fifth of the timing.

Fast & Furious 9 is still a good action movie that masterfully hides in a series of boring scenes. Cinema is possible - and necessary! - squeeze for the benefit of the audience. For in this form, the franchise resembles the quintessence of a midlife crisis: it still clings tenaciously to the past, but the former enthusiasm is gone.
