‘Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One’ Review - Tom Cruise is Back
This latest film features even more strong-willed, powerful women. Hayley Attwell is the leading lady and looks like Victoria Beckham's sister. She is an independent woman who succeeds in her own criminal arena, but soon becomes overwhelmed when the stakes rise. Rebecca Ferguson returns in the role of the shady and, in this case, somewhat sidelined Ilsa, while Vanessa Kirby revels as the White Widow, an intelligent woman who can outshine any man. And then there's Pom Klementieff as Paris, a sort of indestructible henchman to the villain Gabriel. As always, Ethan, who once again finds himself on the wrong side of CIA, is resolute and determined. He's supported by Ving Rhames, whose role is little more than to work technical wizardry on his laptop, and Pegg, who as always provides the amusement when the key goes back and forth between the parties.
