What begins as a worry-free summer vacation in a land of eternal sunlight takes a sinister turn when island villagers invite their guests to participate in festivities that make pastoral paradise increasingly disconcerting and viscerally disturbing. From the visionary mind of Ari Aster comes a cinematic fairy tale soaked in terror where a world of darkness unfolds in broad daylight.
